Attending a careers fair is an ideal way to meet potential candidates face-to-face, raise your profile and gain excellent exposure for your employer brand. We hold fairs throughout the year and cover all industries.

In line with current social distancing restrictions, the Virtual Graduate Jobs & Internships Series offers students a valuable opportunity to hear directly from employers, in place of the Graduate Jobs & Internships Fair (Spring).

Virtual Start Up Careers Fair 2020

The Careers Centre is seeking expressions of interest from startups who would like to engage directly with motivated students in a virtual careers fair in October 2020.

Interested parties must be able to offer employment opportunities for students and the content of all sessions will be an education piece for students around your field and the opportunities you offer.

This fair continues to attract significant interest from both employers and students, and we are pleased to announce its return in 2020.

To be held after hours in the University's impressive Great Hall, this fair is a great opportunity for employers to meet high-calibre, potential graduates and conduct significant profile raising on campus.

Your presence at the fair will be supported by extensive marketing across the University. This advises students of your presence on campus and raises the profile of your organisation.

The marketing for this fair includes:

  • dedicated space on the student Careers Centre pages, including every exhibiting organisation's name, logo, website, applicant eligibility and application opening and closing dates
  • strategic postings on social media sites
  • promotional information on student e-learning portals
  • promotional information in student and staff e-newsletters
  • widespread, strategic postering and lecture-drops across campus prior to the event
  • email communications to students and academics through the Careers Centre and faculties
  • targeted promotion and support through relevant clubs and societies.
