Entry requirements

To study the EAPTT or ELTT, you will need:

a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent, applicants with other test results should check the test concordance table (pdf, 139KB)
a recognised TESOL qualification.

English for Academic Purposes Teacher Training (EAPTT)

This professional program develops your knowledge and skills in the specialised areas of teaching English for academic purposes. It is suitable for:

current English for academic purposes (EAP) teachers
general English and test preparation teachers looking to transition into EAP teaching
academic managers of EAP courses
CELTA (or equivalent) graduates.
