We have a wide range of scholarship options for international postgraduate students studying business. This page includes scholarships for both prospective and current international students.

Scholarship Value Eligibility
Business School International Scholarship $5,000 to $10,000
  • International student
  • Unconditional offer for a Bachelor's or Master's by coursework program (excluding MBA, MBA Leadership and Enterprise, Executive MBA, and Master of Management (CEMS))
CEMS Exchange Travel Scholarships $2,000
  • Master of Management (CEMS) student undertaking approved exchange
Local Industry Placement Program Scholarship $2,500
  • Enrolled in the unit of study BWIL2100 or BWIL6100
  • Completed a minimum of 48 credit points in an undergraduate degree or 24 credit points in a postgraduate coursework degree
  • Minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70, unless you can demonstrate financial hardship, in which case a minimum WAM of 60 is required
  • Undertake an approved unpaid placement during the semester
Master of International Business Travel Support Scholarship Up to $5,000
  • Student enrolled in the International Business Project unit
MBA Director's Scholarship $10,000 to $40,000
  • Received an unconditional offer of admission into the MBA (Leadership and Enterprise)
Experience in Industry Scholarship $2,500
  • Enrolled in Experience in Industry BWIL2150 or BWIL6150
  • Completed a minimum of 24 credit points
  • Minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70, unless you can demonstrate financial hardship, in which case a minimum WAM of 60 is required
  • Undertake an approved unpaid placement during the semester
Strategic Exchange Partner Scholarships $2,000
  • Coursework student
  • Enrolled at the University of Sydney Business School
  • Accepted for student exchange at a strategic partner institution
Student Exchange Travel Scholarships $2,000
  • Coursework student
  • Studying at the University of Sydney Business School
  • Accepted to the University of Sydney Exchange program
The Dean's Excellence Scholarship (Executive MBA) 20% of tuition fees
  • Unconditional offer to study an EMBA at the University of Sydney Business School
USA Industry Placement Program Scholarship $5000 - $7000
  • Enrolled in BWIL2215 or BWIL6215
  • Completed a minimum of 24 credit points
  • Must have a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70, unless they can demonstrate financial hardship, in which case a minimum WAM of 60 is required
  • Undertake an approved unpaid placement during the semester
