Why did you choose your course in Year 12?

I've always loved maths and logical thinking. Studying Software Design in high school sparked my passion for coding, and Sydney's Advanced Computing degree offered the perfect mix of theory and real-world tech like AI.

What advice would you give to a female student starting engineering or computer science?

Never stop asking questions! It's how we learn and grow. If you're wondering something, chances are others are too— your curiousity helps everyone, not just you.

What are you doing now?

I'm a software engineer at Atlassian. I interned there in third year, loved the experience, and returned as a grad. Over a year later, I'm still learning and loving it!

What's the most satisfying part of your job?

Solving complex problems that directly help users is incredibly rewarding. I also get to learn from brilliant engineers every day — it's a constant journey of growth.
