Master of Architecture

The Master of Architecture is a two-year degree when undertaken full-time. To qualify for the degree, candidates must complete the degree requirements as specified in the course resolutions and unit of study table. All students should read the degree resolutions and monitor their progress through the degree by reference to them. The following points summarise the resolutions but do not replace them.

Summary of requirements

In order to qualify for the award of the pass degree candidates must successfully complete 96 credit points consisting of:

• 72 credit points from the core units of study, including one of the Capstone options as described in Table A

(i) Option1: MARC6000 Thesis Studio (24 credit points) or

(ii) Option 2: MARC6010 Architectural Studio 3 (12 credit points) and MARC6020 Thesis (12 credit points)

• 24 credit points from elective units of study from those listed in Table A or, with permission from the program director and the unit coordinator concerned, from other postgraduate units within the School.
