Transport Engineering Major

Transport engineering incorporates planning, design, operation and management of infrastructure to achieve safe, economical, and environmentally sustainable movement of people and goods.

Our Major in transport engineering covers traditional mathematical and engineering methods, and also considers multidisciplinary issues such as environmental and social impact, economics, and government policy.

Knowledge of transport issues is of great benefit to graduates in any broad engineering professional situation. Graduates with a transport major are expected to work in the design, construction or operation of road, rail, air or sea infrastructure anywhere in the world.
