About Sydney Professional Certificates

What is the Sydney Professional Certificate?

Sydney Professional Certificates are micro-credentials that require the completion of 12 credit points (usually two units of study). Given their short duration, they allow time-poor professionals to undertake study in specialised areas without committing to a more extensive postgraduate degree.

Sydney Professional Certificates provide training for postgraduate students seeking to update their professional skills and knowledge in emerging or specialised areas specific to their careers and academic backgrounds. Sydney Professional Certificate are currently available within the areas of public health, medicine and higher education.

The Sydney Professional Certificate is accredited by the University but is not a qualification within the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
