Sydney Professional Certificate

About the Sydney Professional Certificate

The Sydney Professional Certificate is a short qualification offering professional training and skill development for graduates who wish to update knowledge and skills in specialised and emerging areas to build their professional expertise and support their careers.

The Sydney Professional Certificate qualifies individuals to apply a body of knowledge in a specific context for professional, highly skilled or specialised work. It can also provide a pathway for further learning by articulating to larger postgraduate degrees such as graduate certificates, graduate diplomas and masters level qualifications (subject to the award rules of those qualifications).

The Sydney Professional Certificate is accredited by the University but is not a qualification within the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
