Jane Lowther

Jane is a facilitator of the Leadership Practice module on the Executive Leadership in Major Projects program. Jane helps leaders develop confidence in themselves and release energy and passion for their work and helps whole systems work more productively and effectively at the team, large group, whole system and whole of organization level. Jane works with clients across a range of industries and specialises in knowledge intensive organisations where the key challenge is to effectively lead and manage highly independent, intelligent, creative and self-motivated staff such as researchers, academics, engineers, consultants, lawyers, medical staff etc.

Jane has worked in the agricultural, mining and research industries. She spent 11 years working as Manager Executive Development for CSIRO a large Australian Government funded R&D organisation. In recent years Jane has run her own consulting practice specialising in leadership and team development for a range of organisations in the public and private sector. She has worked as an executive coach on the Senior Manager Development Program at the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) at the University of NSW and currently works as a coach in a range of leadership programs at IMD, the major international business school based in Lausanne, Switzerland. Jane is an adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney currently working as module leader of the leadership module of the University of Sydney EMBA and co-module leader of the MBA.

Silvia Damiano

Silvia Damiano is a co-facilitator on the High Performing Project Teams module as part of the Executive Leadership in Major Projects program.

She is a active speaker coach and author and facilitates leading executive education programs on topics of Emotional Intelligence, Neuroleadership and Engagement.

Silvia is also the Founder and CEO of the About My Brain Institute and the Brian Art Project.

An expert in the design and implementation of organisational learning strategies, Silvia received in 2006 the L&D Excellence Award for the best learning tool for a financial institution (Westpac Bank) by AITD (Australian Institute of Training and Development).

Silvia has previously worked in Senior Learning & Development roles with Westpac and Ernst and Young, Chile. She has extensive experience working in different countries and across many industries, helping teams and organisations to improve business performance, concentrating on key areas around leadership development and cultural change.

Professor Joel Cutcher-Gershenfeld

Joel Cutcher-Gershenfeld is Professor and former Dean in the School of Labor and Employment Relations at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He is also a Senior Research Scientist with the National Center for Super Computing Applications and holds a courtesy appointment in Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering at the University of Illinois. Joel also holds a fractional appointment as a visiting Professor in Work and Organizations at the University of Sydney, Australia.

Joel is the facilitator of our Collaborative Engagement and Stakeholder Alignment module as part of the Executive Leadership in Major Projects program.

Through the Program on Negotiation at the Harvard Law School, has leads executive education in topics such as high performance work systems, technology negotiations, coaching and mentoring, and stakeholder alignment.

Joel has extensive experience leading large-scale systems change, including serving as a lead consultant to the UAW and Ford in the implementation of the Quality and Safety Operating Systems. He is presently working with senior union and management leaders from the UAW and Ford documenting the principles guiding this transformation.
