Our research focuses on improving our understanding of mental health and substance use through epidemiological research, the evaluation of innovation prevention and treatment responses, translating those into policy and practice, and undertaking strategic initiatives and partnerships to improve social and health outcomes for people with mental health and substance use disorders.

Lived experience

We engage with people with lived and living experience of mental health and/or substance use issues, including young people (16-25 years) through several avenues including the Youth Advisory Board, Youth Engagement Network, and the Lived Experience in Research Network (LEARN).
