Providing quality speech pathology services to children and adults

The University of Sydney SPEECH Clinic is a teaching and research facility providing speech pathology services to children and adults in the community.

We aim to provide optimal service to clients while enabling professional growth and development for both students and educators. 

Our assessment and therapy services are provided by qualified speech pathologists supervising speech pathology students undertaking clinical or fieldwork training.

Supervised students are able to see adults and children with a range of communication difficulties including in language, speech, voice, stuttering, and swallowing.

We are open to members of the public however our clinic fees are not eligible for Medicare rebates.

The University of Sydney SPEECH Clinic is a non-profit clinic funded by the University and clinic fees.

Title : One of Australia’s largest university clinics

Description : The SPEECH Clinic is one of the largest university clinics in Australia. We support the education of over 300 undergraduate and graduate-entry masters speech pathology students across approximately 100 practice placements every year.

Title : 1000+ clients a year

Description : We see around 1000 clients a year in the clinic and at our community outreach sites. We partner with over 15 community sites throughout metropolitan Sydney, including Aboriginal health services, refugee services, aged-care facilities, schools as community centres, primary and high schools.
