Sydney Global Health
Research excellence and teaching to create equitable good health for all
,
Our research experts work across a range of research, health policy, program implementation, health systems evaluation, and community advocacy projects to address health inequities and improve health outcomes for all people around the world.
Through our research and teaching practices, we are committed to equity, social justice, anti-racism, and the decolonising of health practices and systems.
We value and promote health as a human right and recognise its centrality and interconnectedness with culture and environment, self-determination and dignity, and social thriving and flourishing. We enact this through a focus on community-driven solutions and political advocacy, and a foregrounding of the social and political determination of health.
We recognise the vital necessity of critically engaged and innovative global health education in achieving these aims. Through the Master of Global Health we draw on our expertise to create transformational learning experiences to prepare the next generation of global health practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and advocates.
