The Westmead Applied Research Centre aims to create solutions that apply new technology effectively to reduce cardiovascular and other chronic diseases.

We're recognised for our innovation, commitment to equity of healthcare delivery and impactful digital health research. Our members include health professionals, scientists, engineers and consumers.  

We were established by the University of Sydney in collaboration with the Western Sydney Local Health District, now one of the largest and most diverse health precincts in Australia.
