Introducing young minds to art, science, history and culture
A visit to the new museum on our historic campus is the first step to fostering life-long learning,

We welcome early learners from preschool, daycare and childcare centres to programs full of storytelling, interactive art and craft activities and empathy developing roleplay.

We are currently taking bookings for in-person programs for March 2022 onwards, please see our Visitor safety information for current covid restrictions.

Activities

These tours are packed with fun things to do and are designed to inspire children's interest in museums.

Activities are based around current exhibitions, and include:

  • storytelling
  • mummy wrapping and toga-wearing
  • our 'beetles and bugs' program
  • creative play
  • learning about indigenous cultures.
