Visiting during COVID-19

We need your assistance to keep our visitors safe
Before you visit our new museum, there are just a few things you need to know.

Before you visit:

  • timed-entry ticket is required, admission is free.
  • Please arrive promptly for your session.
  • You should not visit the museum if you are unwell, have cold or flu symptoms, have travelled overseas or been a close contact of an identified COVID-19 case
  • On arrival, use your phone to check in via a scannable QR code 
  • Cloaking is currently closed and large bags will not be permitted inside the museum
  • The  museum café and shop will be open, payment by card is encouraged.
  • Visitors who do not follow the directions of staff will be asked to leave the museum.

What we are doing to keep you safe:

  • Visitor information will be kept securely for 28 days and, if required, provided to NSW Health for contact tracing purposes. 
  • Hand sanitiser is provided throughout the museum and visitors are encouraged to santise regularly.
  • We are undertaking frequent, enhanced cleaning protocols, including sanitising of high-contact areas.
  • Some exhibitions will have capacity restrictions in order to assist visitors maintain social distancing
  • Signage throughout the museum will remind visitors to maintain social distancing.
  • We are registered with NSW Health as a Covid-Safe business.

Weekdays 10am – 5pm
Thursday evenings until 9pm
Weekends 12pm – 4pm
