Monday to Friday: 10am to 5pm

Saturday and Sunday: 12pm to 4pm 

We are closed on public holidays.

Accessing the Wi-Fi

The Chau Chak Wing Museum offers our visitors free Wi-Fi provided by the University of Sydney.

To access the Wi-Fi please follow these steps:

  • While at the museum select UniSydney - CCWM from the available networks on your device. You will be taken to the sign in page.
  • If you are a returning user please sign in using your username (email you registered with) and password.
  • If you are a new user go to "Need an Account? Click Here" under the Log In button.
  • Add your Name, Phone Number and Email Address, then accept the terms of use.
  • Once registered you will be taken to a screen with your user name (email address) and activation period. A password will be sent to the phone number nominated. 
  • Follow the yellow Sign in button to return to the sign in page.
  • Complete your sign in by adding your username (email), password (sent via text). You will then be connected to the Wi-Fi.

Visitor advice:

Some of our exhibitions contain objects and imagery that visitors may find confronting. Visitor advice and cultural sensitivity notices are provided on individual exhibition web pages, and in the gallery to help our visitors make informed decisions prior to entering these spaces.

Please note that this includes the display of human remains, and images of human remains, of people who lived and died over 2000 years ago in Egypt and from the site of Jericho, West Bank.
