Chau Chak Wing Museum Members are invited to the official launch of the 2023 program of events and an exclusive and catered viewing of the new exhibition Ömie barkcloth: Pathways of nioge

Ömie barkcloth: Pathways of nioge displays dynamic contemporary nioge (barkcloth) made by Ömie artists from the rainforested highlands of Northern (Oro) Province, Papua New Guinea. 

Meet a number of our curators and specialist museum staff, view other exhibitions, hear about the great program of activities taking place in 2023 and learn more about the Chau Wing Museum's exciting plans for 2023 and beyond.

The exhibition will be formally opened by Mr Steven Gagau, President, Sydney Wantok Association and a welcome to Members delivered by Mr David Ellis, Director, Chau Chak Wing Museum.
