Generally, most special consideration applications are processed within four working days.
Don’t panic. Failing a unit is of course disappointing but the important thing is to take some time to work out what it is that has impacted your performance and what support you might need to help you.
If you applied for special consideration but you are now able to sit your original exam as scheduled, you will need to withdraw your special consideration application before the date of the original exam.
Yes. If you are not happy with the special consideration outcome or consideration that’s been granted to you, and feel you have genuine grounds to contest it, you can apply to have the decision reviewed.
In some situations, you may need to have a different conferral date. If this is the case, you’ll need to make your request before your degree has been conferred, as we cannot change your conferral date once your degree is conferred.
