If you're studying in the Business School, you have the opportunity to further develop your skills working on real projects through our various study tours and immersion programs.
The US Future Business Study Tour includes a short study program at New York's NYU Stern School of Business.
You will work on real world projects in conjunction with the Boston Consulting Group, being exposed to design thinking theories and processes which are used by organisations around the world.
The program will focus on design thinking methodology, helping you to develop your academic, social, cultural and professional skills. You will apply cross-cultural, research, critical thinking and collaboration skills when working on strategic projects.
Your study tour will be fully supported for the duration of the program by an academic from the Business School and a business consultant with international expertise.
There will be partial Business School scholarships awarded under two categories, for example, Merit and Leadership and Equity and Merit.
Undergraduate students enrolled in a Business School degree (or combined Business School degree) may apply. You will need a minimum WAM of 50 and to have completed 48 credit points or two semesters of business units before you commence the program.

The undergraduate China Future of Business Study Tour is no longer scheduled to run over winter 2020. More information will available on this page closer to the next intake for this program.
The undergraduate study tour will allow you to explore Shanghai, experience daily language and Chinese culture activities, and have networking and mentoring opportunities with local business managers and/or executives.
The program has been designed to introduce you to the future of business in China and is a pathway towards more complex work-integrated learning programs.
You will be fully supported for the duration of the program by an academic from the Business School.
Partial Business School scholarships are also available and awarded under two categories for example, Merit and Leadership and Equity and Merit.
Undergraduate students enrolled in a Business School degree (or combined Business School degree) may apply. You will need a minimum WAM of 50 and to have completed 24 credit points of business units before you commence the program. If you commenced your degree in Semester 2 2019, you will be eligible to apply.
The Business School is offering a short-term study tour program in China over the summer break for postgraduate students.
The program incorporates a pre-departure workshop in Sydney, weeks in Shanghai and an online re-entry debrief learning experience.
You will explore start-up idea and increase your understanding of how business innovators start global businesses with an in-country experience in China. The program gives you the chance work on real-world problems facing organisations, governments and markets in China and businesses engaging with China.
Postgraduate students enrolled in a Master of Commerce, Master of Professional Accounting and Master of Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations and Master of Logistics and Supply Chain Management are eligible to apply. You will need a minimum WAM of 50 and to have completed 24 credit points of business units before you commence the program. If you commenced your degree in Semester 2 2019, you are eligible to apply.

Supported by a grant from the Southeast Asia Centre, this tour will allow you to undertake a cultural and responsible business immersion experience in one of Southeast Asia’s fastest emerging markets, the Philippines.
With site visits in Manila and Zambales, this program will allow you to better understand Philippine culture, responsible business practices and social enterprise projects that aim to positively impact on community well-being, economics, social reform and policy.
You will be fully supported for the duration of the program by an academic from the Business School.
VC Global Mobility scholarships to the value of $1500 (AUD) are available to eligible students.
