Our Welcome Program

Your introduction to university life

Don't miss out on the events, information sessions and activities we have planned to help you adjust to life as a university student.

The University of Sydney Welcome Program is one of the best in Australia, bringing together all students, new and continuing, to celebrate the start of semester.

Our Welcome Program takes place in the weeks leading up to each semester and includes both in-person and online events for students. Our Welcome events, activities and workshops are run by faculties and schools, Student Life, the University of Sydney Union (USU), the Library, clubs and societies, and more.

From faculty and school events, peer-mentoring sessions and workshops to club and society stalls, freebies and live music performances, there's something for everyone at Welcome.
