What this will mean for classes and assessments

A public holiday on Thursday 22 September has been declared for the National Day of Mourning for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Will I be able to attend class on a different day that week?

Arrangements will vary across the University, so keep an eye on Canvas and your University email to find out more about what is happening in your courses.

I have an in-class assessment or in-semester test scheduled for that day, what will happen?

Your unit of study coordinator will communicate with you via email or Canvas.

Will the student centre be closed on the day?

The student centre will be closed on Thursday 22 September.

Will the libraries and study spaces also be closed on the day?
