We welcome applications from all faculties and strive for diverse multidisciplinary cohorts. Over previous years our Honours Fellows have come from Engineering, Science, Law, and Arts.

The aim of the SEI Honours Research Fellowship Program is to provide a supportive environment and community for emerging researchers, exposing them to multidisciplinary thinking and methodologies to address critical environmental issues.

Students should be planning to commence Honours in Semester 1, 2026 and have a research topic that aligns with at least one of SEI priority areas: climate disaster and adaptation; biodiversity, conservation and culture; and the climate and health intersection.

Applications for SEI Honours Research Fellowships close on 15 March 2026 (11.59pm AEDT).
