This capstone unit allows students to integrate and put into practice their cultural studies knowledge through work-integrated learning (WIL). Students will undertake an approved internship for direct work experience in a relevant organisation or business, where they will engage in cultural research and analysis through assigned tasks during the placement. Through pre-placement preparations, workshops and assessments, students will apply cultural studies methodologies and engage critically with experiences at the internship site.
