This unit of study provides an overview of Australian public law: the body of legal principles that constitute and regulate public power. It examines the functions and powers of the three brances of the Australian government - Parliament, the executive, and the courts - and the relationship between them. This unit is intended to complement students' further studies in Constitutional Law and Administrative Law.
