Our veterinary teams in Sydney and Camden provide a comprehensive range of soft tissue surgical services for dogs, from routine procedures through to more complex interventions. Care is delivered by experienced clinicians, with clear referral pathways to senior general, registrar and specialist surgeons when required. We offer high-quality treatment across procedures such as desexing, mass removal, wound repair and biopsies, while advanced and emergency cases are managed with appropriate clinical oversight. Both campuses are supported by specialist anaesthesia services to ensure safe and effective surgical outcomes.

Soft tissue surgery services we offer

Our veterinarians in Sydney and Camden provide a range of general soft tissue surgical procedures, including:

  • routine spays and neuters
  • leg, digit and tail amputations
  • eye enucleations
  • aural haematomas repair
  • simple lump or mass removals
  • biopsies
  • minor wound lacerations

Most other surgeries are referred to Senior General Surgeons, Registrars and Specialist surgeons available at the hospital. All emergency cases are seen by our emergency specialists and referred directly to surgery when required.

Our Camden location offers the above routine surgery and senior general surgery, including:

  • abdominal surgery (cystotomy and foreign body removal)
  • pyometra (removal of infected uterus)
  • splenectomies (removal of spleen due to tumours, rupture or torsion)
  • caesarean sections
  • extracapsular repair (DeAngelis) cruciate repair for small dogs only

Both campuses are supported by anaesthesia specialists when required.
