Facts & figures
We strive to create a community in which individuals and their ideas can flourish, regardless of their socioeconomic, geographic or cultural backgrounds.
When you make a gift towards student support, you are providing financial assistance to talented and motivated students, and giving them the ability to focus on the thing that matters most – their education.
Scholarships provide financial aid to students who might not otherwise be able to attend university. This includes students from rural and regional communities, low socioeconomic backgrounds and minority groups, or students who are living with a disability or as a carer.
Bursaries provide students with financial relief during a difficult time, allowing them to continue with their studies and purchase essential items like textbooks.
After COVID-19 forced his parents to close their family business, Ryan* didn’t know if he could continue his studies.
Thanks to the kindness of donors, Ryan received emergency support through a student bursary.
“The bursary allowed me to focus my energy more on my studies, rather than worrying about rent and other living expenses. It was a massive help … it took the pressure off.”
