The Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (Honours) builds on the skills achieved in the Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience through independent research under the supervision of an academic staff member. The honours coursework units develop theoretical and methodological expertise, while the honours thesis, requiring original scholarship, develops and assesses disciplinary expertise. Students will be required to complete a piece of research and present their results in some combination of a written report or thesis, a presentation, and/or an oral examination.
The Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (Honours) can be completed after meeting the requirements of the 3-year specialist degree and the progression requirements for Honours.
Requirements and units of study for Honours can be found on the Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (Honours) course resolutions and unit of study page. Read how to apply for honours as a current student.
