Four Scholarship amounts are offered based on ranking against the selection criteria:
- $10,000 in total towards academic tuition fees for the first unit of study, or
- $20,000 in total towards academic tuition fees. Two equal payments across the first two units of study or
- $30,000 in total towards academic tuition fees. Three equal payments across the first three units of study, or
- $40,000 in total towards academic tuition fees. Four equal payments across the first four units of study.
The value of the Scholarship will be indicated in the offer letter.

a. Established in 2026, this Scholarship is generously funded by the University of Sydney Business School to assist students commencing the Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Sydney.
2. Eligibility
a. Applicants must be eligible for admission into the Executive MBA within the University of Sydney Business School at the University of Sydney.
b. Students currently enrolled in the University of Sydney Executive MBA and employees of the University of Sydney are not eligible.
3. Selection Criteria
a. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of:
I. academic merit, and
II. a personal statement which demonstrates why the applicant would benefit from the scholarship, their academic achievements, community involvement, extra-curricular activities, leadership qualities, and awards and recognition.
b. Applicants must also include a letter of recommendation from their current manager.
c. Shortlisted applicants may be requested to attend either an in-person or video conference interview.
d. The Scholarship will be awarded on the nomination of a selection committee consisting of the Director of the Executive MBA Program, or their nominated delegate, a professional staff member from the Executive MBA program, or their nominated delegate, and an alumnus of the Executive MBA program.
4. Value
a. Four Scholarship amounts are offered based on ranking against the selection criteria:
I. $10,000 in total towards academic tuition fees for the first unit of study, or
II. $20,000 in total towards academic tuition fees. Two equal payments across the first two units of study or
III. $30,000 in total towards academic tuition fees. Three equal payments across the first three units of study, or
IV. $40,000 in total towards academic tuition fees. Four equal payments across the first four units of study.
b. The amount awarded will be specified in the Scholarship letter of offer.
c. Deferral of the Scholarship is not permitted without the prior permission of Director of the Executive MBA Program and it is not transferable to another University school, faculty or university.
d. The Scholarship will be offered subject to the availability of funds.
e. No other amount is payable. Recipients are responsible for the payment of the Student Services Amenities Fee (SSAF).
5. Ongoing eligibility
a. To continue receipt of the Scholarship, the recipient must maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 65 each semester, remain enrolled and have no outstanding tuition fees.
6. Termination
a. The Scholarship will be terminated if the recipient:
I. withdraws from an eligible course or fails to enrol,
II. does not meet the minimum enrolment load requirement without prior permission from the Director, Executive MBA.
III. Does not maintain satisfactory academic performance,
IV. is determined by the University to be guilty of serious misconduct, including, but not limited to, having provided false or misleading information as part of their Scholarship application,
V. is awarded an alternative primary scholarship. In such circumstances this scholarship will be terminated in favour of the alternative scholarship where the alternative scholarship is of higher value,
VI. has outstanding unpaid academic tuition fees,
VII. does not resume study at the end of a period of approved leave, or
VIII. any other provision as indicated in these terms that would lead to termination.
b. Once the Scholarship has been terminated, it will not be reinstated unless due to University error.
c. Where a student is found guilty of serious misconduct or withdraws from the relevant course, the University reserves the right to request that any Scholarship funds paid to the Scholarship recipient be reimbursed.
7. Representation
a. The scholarship recipient will be required to represent the University of Sydney Business School at University corporate, recruitment and scholarship events and will be invited to promote the MBA program in which they are enrolled.
