Each year, the University partners with the Centre in China to hold graduation celebrations in China. These culturally rich celebrations are conducted in a combination of English and Mandarin and attended by senior University staff.
If you’re an eligible student you’re welcome to celebrate your academic achievements with friends and family at one of these special graduation events. This exciting opportunity is in addition to your Sydney graduation ceremony.
This year's events will be held at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Beijing on 7–8 November 2026.
To be eligible to register you’ll need to satisfy the general eligibility criteria to graduate for 2026.
Each year we send invitations to eligible students whose country of citizenship is recorded in Sydney Student as one of the following:
We’ll prioritise students whose degrees are conferred between November 2025 and October 2026.
If your degree was conferred before November 2025, you may apply to attend if places are still available. The registration link will be published on 2 September, so please check this webpage again on or after that date.
