Graduation

Attend a graduation ceremony in China

Each year, the University partners with the Centre in China to hold graduation celebrations in China. These culturally rich celebrations are conducted in a combination of English and Mandarin and attended by senior University staff.

If you’re an eligible international student you’ll be invited to celebrate your academic achievements with friends and family at one of these special graduation events. This will be separate to the invitation you’ll receive for your Sydney graduation.

The schedule varies each year; details about the city, dates and costs are expected to be available in the second half of 2025. We’ll update this webpage with information and the application form, as well as post details on social media (eg Little Red book 小红书), and reach out to eligible students via WeChat.

Benefits of attending

  • Ceremonies are held in prestigious venues.
  • Senior academic and professional staff from the University join to celebrate with you and your guests.
  • You’ll get the chance to connect with local alumni and build professional networks.
