In this practice education unit, students mentor a Year 2 student to develop early practice skills in providing speech pathology services to individuals, families and communities. Students are required to demonstrate a level of independence managing a caseload and undertaking service level activities within the on-campus clinic. Strong reflective practice, reciprocal learning, communication, teamwork and participation in supervisory conferences with their practice educators and peers are integral to the unit.
