New Ground
The University of Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning extends a warm welcome to our students, alumni, industry professionals and community to join us in celebration of our graduates at 'New Ground' hosted at Carriageworks.
Join us as we celebrate the future leaders in the built environment and be inspired by the intellectual, technical and socially responsible projects of over 500 emerging designers.
The exhibiton will feature works from students across our undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including:

Watch our best graduates pitch their projects to industry critics from 3.00pm at our pre-opening pitch sessions.
- 3.00pm - 5.00pm: Open Jury – Architecture
- 3.00pm - 5.00pm: Open Jury – Urbanism
- 4.00pm - 5.00pm: Testing Fair – Interaction Design
Then join our graduates at Carriageworks alongside their projects from 6.00pm and celebrate the night away with DJs and special activations!
- 6.00pm - 6.40pm: Public Launch remarks and Open Jury Industry Awards ceremony
- 6.40pm - 10.00pm: Celebration
