To qualify for the award of the Master of Commerce (Extension), a candidate must complete 96 credit points^, comprising:
^ Students with relevant qualifications may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to reduce the length of study required.
* Students with a prior business qualification may apply to have relevant foundational units waived.
** Students who choose to complete a second specialisation only must complete the capstone unit listed for their primary specialisation.
*** The dissertation units cannot be counted towards a specialisation. However, students may opt to substitute them for a capstone. Enrolment in the dissertation unit/s requires students to have completed 48 credit points in units of study within their degree with an 80% WAM, and a research proposal. Applicants also need to obtain confirmation from an academic staff member of their availability to supervise them for the project period. Refer to Canvas.
