Graduates of the Master of Medical Physics will:

3 Apply advanced theoretical and technical skills to perform and critically evaluate quality assurance procedures for medical physics.
4 Demonstrate an expert understanding of the roles and responsibilities of medical physicists in patient care and public safety, as part of diverse interdisciplinary teams.
5 Interpret the significance and scope of ethical principles and the application of these principles in medical physics.
6 Demonstrate initiative and a high degree of independence to work effectively and responsibly in an individual context and within a collaborative group environment.
7 Justify, interpret and effectively communicate expert disciplinary knowledge, technical research findings and evidence-based solutions to issues in medical physics in written, visual and oral modes of communication to specialist and non-specialist audiences
8 Demonstrate initiative and a high degree of independence to plan and execute an individual research project in a prescribed period including conducting a literature review, discussing project results and communicating findings through written, visual and oral modes of communication.
