We offer postgraduate scholarships to help finance your higher degree research

Sydney Law School offers a wide range of scholarship options for students considering postgraduate research in law.

The University of Sydney offers a diverse range of scholarship options to help you pursue your higher research aspirations in law. The scholarships are targeted towards several disciplines, including criminology, labour law, common law and more.

Sydney Law School Postgraduate Scholarships

Ivan Roberts Scholarship

Eligibility: Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor recent graduate, full-time postgraduate student
Value: $50,000

John O'Brien Memorial Research Scholarship in Criminal Law and Criminology

Eligibility: PhD, MCrim (Research) or LLM (Research) student, research criminal law and/or criminology, hold an honours degree or master's degree in law or a relevant discipline.

The Julian Small Research Scholarship in Labour Law

Eligibility: PhD or LLM (Research) full-time student, conduct research in the discipline of labour law, hold an honours degree or master's degree in law
