Heat and Health Research Centre Summit Series

The Heat and Health Research Centre Summit Series showcases leading research and emerging ideas at the intersection of heat and human health. Through presentations from local and international experts, these series create a space for discussion and knowledge exchange on how we can better understand and respond to the health impacts of extreme heat in a warming world.

We have featured guest speakers exploring issues such as heat exposure during the earliest stages of life - including pregnancy, infancy, and childhood - as well as the Universal Thermal Climate Index (UTCI), a widely used metric for assessing outdoor thermal stress.
