Driven by the big picture
We approach issues – both local and international – from all angles, combining the expertise and talents of scholars from multiple disciplines.

Faculty of Science researchers also key contributors to a number of other University centres, networks and initiatives:

ARC Centres, Research Hubs and Training Centres

Funded through Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage schemes, the Faculty is home to two ARC Industrial Transformation Research Hubs and two ARC Industrial Transformation Training Centres:

ARC Industrial Transformation Research Hubs

These Research Hubs engage Australia's best researchers in issues facing the new industrial economies and training the future workforce. The scheme supports collaborative research activity, between the Australian higher education sector and industry, designed to focus on strategic outcomes that are not independently realisable.

ARC Industrial Transformation Training Centres

These centres foster close partnerships between university-based researchers and other research end-users to provide innovative Higher Degree by Research (HDR) and postdoctoral training, for end-user focused research industries that are vital to Australia's future.
