Plan now, plane later
Start planning for a global experience during your degree with Australia's largest global mobility program.

The University’s global mobility program is regularly seen as the largest in Australia. The report examined 2019 data which means before the COVID-19 pandemic, more of you were going overseas during your degree than students from any other Australian university.

Despite the challenges to travel, students have been gaining valuable global experience through virtual programs. And now that international travel is back to normal, it's the perfect time to find out more and plan for an experience of a lifetime.

Jingyi completed a virtual short-term program at Korea University in Seoul, South Korea over the summer break.

“Study abroad is a worthwhile experience. Even though this year we can only study [overseas] remotely, I still felt the amicability from the host institution and met friends from different cultural background. During the three weeks, I completed one 6 points course and immerse myself in a country that I like.”

Summer and winter break abroad

It's been quite a few years, from #usydonline and virtual learning, many students have taken this to another level with virtual global experiences. These are still available alongside in-person overseas programs.

Over the summer and winter breaks, there are many short-term programs available for students. Experience new cultures, meet students from around the world and engage in new learning, from the comfort of your own home or travel overseas.

It’s so much more rewarding being able to engage with content that’s real-life. You also get the taste of travel without the jet-lag and damage to your bank account.
