Stay connected no matter where you are

We've put together a comprehensive list of the University’s official presence on social so you don't miss a thing. Share your online experience with us using the hashtag #usydonline.

Semester 2 will officially kick off in less than two weeks, and for many of us it may not look quite how we'd been hoping it would. Wherever you are, we are sending a big virtual hug to all of you. Don't forget to be kind to yourselves and to others – together we’ve got this.

While the current situation means that we will be spending the first few weeks of the new semester online, we still want to stay in touch with you, safely.

Check out this list of the University’s social media presence, so you can keep connected with the University, and keep up with the memes.

1. Facebook

With more than 400,000 followers, the official University of Sydney Facebook account is the place to find your online campus community. 

Here, you will stay up to date with the latest campus news and events, get an insight into what our student clubs and societies are getting up to and stay connected with your fellow students from around the world. There may even be the occasional meme.

2. WeChat

The University of Sydney has just launched its official WeChat account. This is the official information hub for all our prospective and current Chinese-speaking students. 

Moving across the world to study is both exciting and daunting. This platform will help you plan for a smooth transition to start your degree. From the nitty-gritty of the application process to accepting your offer and onboarding – your journey to Sydney and to the world of rich student experience at the University starts here.

  1. Centre in China WeChat account

For all our current Chinese-speaking students and alumni, our Centre in China WeChat account is your one-stop platform to stay up to date with our latest news, activities, and opportunities happening in China, as well as research and student life in Sydney.

A dedicated community to support the pre-commencement and onboarding of prospective students.

A program to help you stay connected with fellow USyd alumni in China.

Your one-stop showreel to discover the University of Sydney through our students’ lens. Words can't describe the beauty of our campus and people, so check out our Instagram to see it described through photography, art and video. You’ll be inspired to experience it yourself! Whether you’re interested in Medicine, Engineering, Business, Science or Arts, our popular student story takeovers will also give you an insight into what studying at Sydney is really like.
