Nowadays, it faces critical challenges in addressing refugee rights amidst limited regional frameworks among ASEAN member states, with each country handling the issue based on national security concerns. However, there are positive examples of NGO and refugee-led efforts to provide education and human rights protection for refugees in countries like Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. This webinar explores the strength and resilience of the refugee community amidst their protracted situations in this region.
