On successful completion of the program, students will be able to:

1 Demonstrate and evaluate the conceptual basis of International Studies and demonstrate trans-cultural communication skills.
2 Communicate the processes and trends that constitute the modern, globalised world, and utilise the tools of international and global studies to evaluate its key elements, actors, institutions, and components.
3 Critically analyse important changes and continuities in the historical development of the modern world system and Identify connections between global processes and events.
4 Demonstrate the skills to construct evidence-based arguments drawing on a relevant theoretical base and present them for different audiences and in different modes, whether in written, oral, visual or digital form.
5 Demonstrate information literacy by the ability to analyse a range of methods and sources, including digital sources, texts, images, and economic data in relation to their cultural, political and linguistic contexts.
6 Demonstrate effective oral and written skills by synthesising and communicating ideas about international and global issues using a range of media and addressing a wide range of audiences. 
7 Demonstrate knowledge of the processes and trends that constitute the modern, globalised world. These include politics, economics, law, society, culture, gender and sexuality. Explain how these processes and trends are shaped by diverse values and perspectives.
8 Demonstrate problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills through project work and interdisciplinary study.
