This unit of study offers core knowledge of book publishing processes and skills, including acquisition strategy, editing, design, production, financial, printing, sales, marketing, distribution, and investigates innovation in different industry sectors. Students will gain insight into the full range of career options via guest lectures and discussion.

1x5mins (500wd equivalent) acquisition pitch and submission (10%), 1x2000wd essay (40%), 1x1500wd equivalent group written pitch (40%), 1x500wd individual written reflection on group (10%)
