Animal and Veterinary Bioscience Honours
Honours in Animal and Veterinary Bioscience requires 48 credit points of 4000-level units of study comprising:
(i) 6 credit points of Honours placement units, and
(ii) 6 credit points of selective Honours coursework units, and
(iii) 24 credit points of Honours project units and SCIE4999, and
(iv) 12 credit points of elective units of study from Science Advanced Coursework Units and/or (ANSC4100, AVBS4002, AVBS4020)

AVBS4000 Professional Development	6	A Professional Placements Program - they should have undertaken 40 days of industry placements (during years 1-3) prior to enrolling in this UoS. Honours project units
AVBS4015 Research Project A	6	A For students in the Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (enrolled pre-2018): completion of years 1-3 and a second/third year WAM commensurate with obtaining honours and approval of the Faculty to enrol. For students in the Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Advanced Studies: completion of years 1-3 of the Animal and Veterinary Bioscience stream, including the Animal and Veterinary Bioscience major and completion of a second major or minor and WAM of at least 65 and approval of the Faculty. For all other students successful completion of Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience or equivalent with a WAM of at least 65 and approval of the faculty. C AVBS4016 N AVBS4013 or AVBS4014
