Industry Advisory Board

Where industry and academia intersect
The School of Computer Science Industry Advisory Board works with research laboratories and industry partners including Microsoft, IBM and CISCO. It also connects with hospitals through our biomedical and health informatics research programs.

About us

The School of Computer Science has a dynamic and engaged Industry Advisory Board whose main objectives are:

  • inform the School’s strategic planning by providing advice on emerging trends and opportunities in industry and government
  • inform the School’s curriculum development by providing advice on current and future skills requirements
  • help our students connect with opportunities for internships and real-world projects in industry settings
  • help our academics engage with industry and government to carry out joint researcher projects and to improve our world impact beyond traditional academic settings.
