You can submit samples for a range of contract services or register for training and become a mass spectrometrist or data analyst.

  1. Consultation. After receiving your enquiry, our staff will put together a viable project design, taking into account factors such as experimental scope, instrument requirements, and budget.
  2. Activation. We will assist new users to register via SydneyFMS (Facility Management System).
  3. Induction. We organise bespoke training programs specific to new user needs, providing autonomous access to the facilities or our contract research service as required.

Current users can proceed to SydneyFMS (Facility Management System) to manage their instrument bookings and orders. Bookings can be synchronised with personal calendars via the ics or iCal links in SydneyFMS.

Did you know? If you are a University of Sydney researcher at postdoctoral level and above, you may be eligible for support through the Sydney Research Infrastructure Access Grants program (formerly 'Core Research Facilities User Access Scheme').

These grants support access to Core Research Facilities and Research Service Units for high-quality research by researchers whose opportunities may otherwise be limited. This program supports the University's strategic goals in research excellence and diversity and inclusion.
