Whether it’s career exploration opportunities, career planning advice, or an industry internship you’d like to explore, we’re here to help you take the first steps towards career success.

Make the most of Careers at Sydney

Prepare for your career by engaging with our careers team and services early in your studies.

Log in to Sydney CareerHub to:

  • search the database of student-friendly job opportunities, career jobs, graduate roles and internships in Australia and overseas
  • book a one-on-one career consult to explore your career ideas, goals and how to plan for them.

Visit our Career Centre site to:

  • access the Sydney Career Toolkit for everything from career pathway insights to job application support and interview prep, helping you explore options and get ready for the job you want
  • find specialised career resources as an International student, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student or job seeker with a disability
  • see the latest internal and external employer events, and which employers will be attending our career fairs.

Plan for opportunities early

During your first year you can start learning about and applying for a range of exciting placements, internships and overseas experiences. Through these you can build a network with industry professionals, gain real world experience, or enhance your foreign language skills.

For most opportunities, you’ll need room in your course, so we suggest building this in to your degree plan as soon as you begin.
