As an active Australian Army Reservist and a proud USYD student, I take pride in serving the communities I belong to. By voting for me as your undergraduate fellow of senate, you can be sure that you are being well served. I would be honoured to represent OUR interests as undergraduate students, striving to deliver results, and holding both myself and the university to the highest standards of accountability, honesty, and transparency.
Faculty of Engineering
I am an experienced advocate on campus for student welfare. I will listen to your needs as a promise to you. I know who's who and who to talk to in USyd to turn your feedback into reality. I will fight on the side of students and staff because staff conditions are student conditions. Over the past few years, I have worked tirelessly to advocate for students with disabilities on campus in both my role in the SRC and my employment in the USU, leading to creating the Disabilities Space and driving consultation for the USU DIAP.
Faculty of Science
I would love to be given the chance to offer my time and energy striving for the betterment of the beautiful university of Sydney, this is why I nominated myself for this position.
I am unlike other candidates, certainly, though my unique experiences and education, along with my young age, will allow me to furnish insightful ideas and judgements, apt to the turbulent and changing times of our modern era.
I will be a voice for those without, and will do my utmost to fight for the prosperity of the university and the community to whom it is a rock.

Our university is run by overpaid executives who hike our fees, cut our courses, and suppress our activism. I’m running for University Senate to fight back. With a wealth of experience across the SRC, Academic Board, Faculty Board, and the USU, I know how this university works – and how to take it back for students. I’ll fight for a student-majority Senate, free education, keeping 5-day simple extensions, and an end to corporate control. No more backroom deals. No more repression. Just real student power.
This isn’t their university – it’s ours. Let’s take it back!

As a first-year student, I have always believed in the power of knowledge to create change. Coming from a background where opportunities were not always abundant, I understand the importance of student voices in shaping a fair and supportive university experience. I am passionate about advocacy, inclusion, and ensuring that every student feels heard. If elected, I will dedicate myself to representing our diverse student body, pushing for meaningful improvements, and fostering a community where all students can thrive. I may be at the start of my journey, but I am ready to make a difference.

The University of Sydney has been a welcoming and supportive community for me, and I see this as my chance to give back. As a group leader, athlete, and problem-solver, I thrive under pressure, listen with intent, and act with purpose. I'm highly competitive-not just in sports, but in pushing for real solutions that ensure every student feels heard and valued. I take feedback seriously, adapt quickly, and never back down from a challenge. If chosen, I'll fight for you with everything I have. I won't let you down-thank you for your time!
Faculty of Science
As a candidate for the Undergraduate Student Fellow of Senate, I aim to represent international students and others whose voices are often overlooked. My goal is to serve as a communication bridge between student community and the management body of the university to promote transparency, inclusion and accountability.
Many students hesitate to speak up due to their uncertainty. I hope to amplify these voices by ensuring their concerns are respectfully acknowledged and directed to the appropriate channels. With a commitment to empathy, professionalism and active listening, I will advocate for meaningful dialogue and inclusive decision-making.

Damon brings extensive international experience as a Production Designer.
He has led high-profile projects in world-class venues and stadiums globally.
He’s worked with Coldplay, Fred Again, Lana Del Rey, Blackpink, amongst many other well-known artists.
Damon is driven by a genuine care for people and prioritises building meaningful relationships, perhaps demonstrated by his prior election as College Captain.
He’s not here to impress you, play uni politics, or boost his own profile – only to get things done. No other candidate brings the same real-world experience and proven ability to deliver.
His inbox is open, and he’d thoroughly appreciate your vote.

Hey everyone! My name is Jenna, and I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Economics. As a FASS Student Partner, Student Mentor, and Media Crew member, I’ve had the chance to connect and listen to various student voices and noticed how important it is to advocate for your needs, big or small. If elected, I will make sure your concerns are heard loud and clear. I’ll push for better transparency, more student focused policies, and also work to improve student support and overall experience. Vote for me and let’s enhance our university experience together!
Sydney Conservatorium of Music
The continued corporatisation and historical-concealment of our university has seen our community burdened with convoluted systems to navigate, degraded education experience, staff overwork, and reduced representation. We need to refocus the University’s strategy away from profit and back to the quality education and research by which this public-institution was known; whilst ensuring active steps are taken to reconcile our role in colonisation as the country’s oldest university.
As the only undergraduate at the University with leadership experience in all levels of study and governance, I am the only candidate who can effectively push for the progress needed at our university.
An election for Academic Board, Faculty and University School, Faculty and University School Boards will take place in Semester 2, 2025 in accordance with the Elections Policy 2022. A notice of election will be posted on the University Noticeboard to notify students of the election.
