Clubs and societies

Students run more than 200 clubs and societies with the support of the University of Sydney Union (USU). This gives you the opportunity to meet other students with similar interests, practise your skills or learn something new.

You will need to have USU Membership to join, available through the USU.

You can search the different clubs and societies on the USU website. Many of them are free to join and others will require a small fee to help cover the cost of events or equipment.

You can also start your own club. Information and the requirements you will need to meet are outlined on the USU website.

FInd out more about clubs and societies on the USU website.

Join a club online

You can now join a student club through our new online platform, using your Unikey. You can see what is on offer, join on the spot and chat and connect with members from more than 250 USU clubs and societies.
