Coursework

The Master of Education (International Education) offers in-depth insights into issues such as the processes and outcomes of globalisation in education, internationalising institutions and systems, and intercultural education.

During the course, which is delivered entirely online, candidates have the opportunity to apply the insights they gain through specialised units of study to topics of their choice, developing one or two small research essays through negotiations with an academic team member.

All academics attached to the program are actively engaged in researching the issues about which they teach.

Participants in the program are usually teachers and other professionals such as planners, officials and aid workers who are either currently employed – or training for future employment – in the field of international education.
