To qualify for the award of the Bachelor of Music (Performance), a candidate must complete 192 credit points comprising:

(a) 48 credit points of core units of study as specified in Table A; including:

(i) 24 credit points of Music Skills units of study; and,

(ii) 24 credit points of Analytical, Historical and Cultural Studies units of study, including: 

a. MCGY1030 This is Music

(b) a 0-credit point unit of study, MCGY0000 Australian Indigenous Music; and
(c) 72 credit points of Principal Study Area units of study as defined in Section 7 of the course resolutions and as specified in Table A; and

(d) Either:

(i) 12 credit points of Music Specialist Creative Project units of study; or

(ii) 12 credit points of Professional Practice Internship/Industry and Community Project units of study

(e) a minimum of 30 credit points of Performance and Ensemble units of study as specified in Table A; and
(f) additional Core and Performance or Ensemble units of study as required by the Principal Study area and specified in Table A; and
(g) where appropriate, elective units from Table A, Table S and a maximum of 6 credit points of units of study in the Open Learning Environment as specified in Table O
