Visual function in retinal disease

Retinal diseases cause damage to any part of the retina. Untreated, they can lead to severe vision loss and even blindness.

However, some can be treated, while others can be controlled or slowed down to preserve, or even restore vision.

We are recruiting people with normal vision and people with colour-blindness to perform vision tests.

These vision tests will take about 2 hours and you will receive payment of $25/lunch voucher.

Eligibility

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • have normal vision (it is ok if you wear glasses)
  • (or) are colour blind
  • have no other eye conditions
  • are generally well
